I just typed something really long, and my message got deleted.
"I'm really strong in musical theatre"
I used to be very obsessed with musical theater. I feel desensitized after moving to Florida and the summer after college. My mind was on other things.
"I've also done classicl since hs too"
I actually soaked in classical music by listening to CDs, too, when I lived in this romantic place, the oldest continuing city in the US in Northeastern Florida. I'm sorry, but I was 9 1/2. What kind of music did you like as a kid??
"Learning techniques for classical transition well for musical theatre"
Basically, you have to learn the notes and terms for technique. You 1st learn to just play and then add the expression as you get older.
"I think singing with Chris Mann would be awesome! He has such a nice tone to his voice and the notes he hit were chilling. I want to sing with a lot of people. All the broadway greats that sort of thing."
You could sing with anyone and your skill should hopefully shine thru. I feel I get worse and worse thru blocks of time in my life and moving.
"Everyone really did recognize me for my leads. And I was never a diva about it, I just liked singing so I didn't care."
I came back to sing with wanting to be in film for things like other singers and the social opportunity cuz I just know I always loved singing, tho getting a bit old. I don't know if diva is the term to describe me. People called me an angel so much in high school. I wanted to really make it but had other dreams, probably like science. I mostly wanted to make sure I performed somehow and decided I wanted to do it professionally in college or after I had to quit. I used to just like singing and still do but love to share it.
Questions:
1) Do you know what is wrong with singing with a great singer before you are famous? Time is waiting, and someone else will do it! Like, do I have to be famous to sing with Chris Mann or someone else in tPotO or just Chris Mann? Remember what I said about how my race made people discriminate against me like I didn't deserve anything I earned socially? It's like you have to be famous on your own for your own singing. Chances like tPotO come up, tho. And I've tried to get famous it so happens and was turned down. My teacher now might let me make a CD. I just didn't have a definitve like when I will be able to do it. I feel so let go. My singing with her sounded much better. It depleted after time went on. I'm starting again in January cuz I went to the Ellen show in the audience. I know there is no real rule about like you have to make a CD to be famous. It seems important you don't say I have to do all these things I don't want when I could do something without it. It's not the way, but it definitely helps.
2) Everyone would love Chris Mann. Do you think there will be restraining orders if he makes it and becomes famous? Do you think he will make it? Or will he retire and start a family, retire from like what he used to do or even dream about doing? I am not marrying and having kids that I know of but started looking at dating sites for friends, at least.. If the world changes, I wouldn't mind having kids at 40. Actually, I was trying to network to go to Norway.
3) Do you think that there will be more singing concerts more easily available? I want to make that happen if I get my voice as good as it was and become famous.
Thank you so much for talking with me!
